What Talent ?

We are all unique and we all have a talent, something we are passionate about. Whilst coaching I have come across many people who fail to realise they have a talent. With some more digging, of course, they soon realise this is not the case.
I have come to realise that it is because our talents come easy to us that we fail to recognize them as anything special.
I have a young nephew who can play the guitar beautifully, when I commented on this he said “oh its easy, anyone can do it!
I also know someone who takes the most amazing photographs, and again when I commented on this they replied ‘it’s the camera not me’.
Some people realise their talent and have chosen to use it and some even earn a living from it! They are living the dream!
I wonder how many people are letting their talents go to waste!
What is your talent?
Bslim4ever – How it works?

The programme uses Neuro Linquistic Programming (NLP) techniques, Time Line Therapy and Hypnotherapy. NLP is a study of the mind and it shows us how to use the language of the mind to consistently achieve our specific and desired outcomes. By re programming the mind you can control and overcome bad habits, phobias, fears, self belief issues and much more.
Using several NLP Techniques will enable you to realise the true emotional issues surrounding your eating patterns. You will deal with internal conflict, limiting beliefs and limiting decisions. All of which will allow you to take back control in all areas of your life, not just your weight issues. Once you understand ‘why’ you can then deal with the issue/s head on and stop hiding behind food as your protection.
Now it gets exciting as the new you emerges and its time to install new patterns and new strategies which then allow you to once and for all be the person you truly want to be. If you have the desire to change and you really want to achieve long-term success and you are fully committed to doing so then this programme will work for you.
No one can make anyone else change only we can change ourselves.
What’s Eating You?
April 26, 2011 at 2:58 pm | Posted in Weight Loss | Leave a commentTags: be slim for ever, Slimming, weight issues
If the real issues surrounding weight issues are dealt with you will never have to diet or join a slimming club again. In the past, like many others, I have had weight issues. At one time I was a size 18 and weighed 13 stone. I also battled with anorexia for a year and a half, although at the time I did not believe I was anorexic. Since discovering NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and becoming a Master NLP Coach and learning from my own experiences, I now know that eating issues are nothing to do with food. If you, like me, have tried numerous slimming clubs, diets, calorie counting and so on, you will know that they are usually just a short-term fix. You will also know that the one thing that happens for sure is once on any diet. you will now concentrate on food 24/7. Slimming starts to take over your life, it’s all you think about and it’s all you talk about. Consider this; if you concentrate all the time on what you don’t want, then you will get more of what you don’t want!
It is nothing to do with what you eat or when you eat. So long as you are fully committed to leading a healthy lifestyle. If you have the desire to change you will!
My weight loss programme will be a journey of self discovery. You will learn why you have weight issues, how to face those issues and how to deal with and move on from those issues. This will enable you to live a fulfilled and satisfied life, no longer dominated by slimming. It will be an emotional journey too, but the outcome will leave you enlightened, renewed and in control.
Comfort Zone !!!
April 26, 2011 at 2:32 pm | Posted in Career | Leave a commentTags: Comfort Zone, dead-end job
If you dread going to work every day and spend your week longing for the weekend then you are probably in the wrong job. It is true, believe it or not that some people love their job and enjoy going to work, yet there are others that have real trouble believing this. They really believe that a job is not to be enjoyed, that it is a means to an end, it pays the bills etc. The difference is, those that enjoy their job are those that chose to do something they love.
What usually keeps us in an unsatisfying job is the comfort zone. This is a dangerous place to be! You feel safe, there is no pressure, you know what to expect every day and there are no risks. But at the end of the day, you probably feel worn out, de-motivated, lethargic with no zest for life. It is not long before all of these symptoms start to impact on your whole life, such as relationships, fitness, self-confidence and socialising.
I can tell you now, there is not one single person that stepped out of their comfort zone and regretted it!
It’s usually fear of the unknown that keeps us trapped but once you take the first step your whole life will change for the better.
Close your eyes and visualize your resignation. However you would complete this by letter, or email, visualise every step. See what you see, hear what you hear and feel what you feel. Visualise every detail. Now take a big deep breath in and then breath out letting go of all negativity. Open your eyes. What are you feeling? Is it fear or is it excitement?
Exercise 2
Make a list of:
- Everything you have to gain by staying
- Everything you have to gain by moving
- Everything you have to lose by staying
- Everything you have to lose by moving
The answers will speak for them selves. what is the positive intention of staying in a dead-end boring job that offers you no future?
What is the positive intention of staying in a boring dead-end job?
Once you are in a job you enjoy you will be motivated, have more energy, more confidence and all areas of your life will improve.

When we are challenged we are motivated, when we are motivated we are confident, when we are confident we are happy, when we are happy we are successful!
Can you tick yes to all of the below?
- Are you passionate about your work?
- Are you challenged
- Are you motivated?
- Are you progressing|?
- Do you have job satisfaction?
- Do you get recognition
- Are you valued?
We spend around 2000 hours working per year, if you don’t enjoy what you do then you are wasting your valuable time. If you were given the choice to stay in a boring job or to do something you love but for less money what would you choose?
Life is so short, enjoy every part of it, not just the weekends?
Be Slim For Ever
April 20, 2011 at 2:16 pm | Posted in Weight Loss | Leave a commentTags: be slim for ever, no more diets, weight loss
From my own past experiences, I know that dieting, in any shape or form, is only a short-term fix. No one can stay on a diet for ever and who would want to. So the pattern begins, you start a diet, you lose a few pounds, you stop the diet, you gain a few pounds. You get back to normal life for a while until the next diet. This cycle will continue until you actually address the real issues.
The real issue with weight problems is never food! Deal with the real issues and you will never have to diet again!
